CÉSAR CENTENO

Peruvian filmmaker and sound artist specializing in sound recording, design, and mixing for film. His work explores innovative cinematographic approaches and proposal, audiovisual storytelling, sound psychology, and the creation of immersive sound universes.

Founder of Antipodes Films, a platform dedicated to promoting groundbreaking cinematic projects worldwide, he has contributed to over 50 films, many of which have been selected and awarded at prestigious festivals such as Berlinale, Cannes, Rotterdam, Visions du Réel, Mar del plata, etc.

 His recent projects include films such as Punku, Kinra, and Karuara – People of the River, among others. 

Trained in Sound Engineering at IST Orson Welles (Peru) and specialized in Film Sound at the EICTV International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba), he was selected as a sound designer for Berlinale Talents Guadalajara.

 📍 Currently based in Cusco, Peru, and Manila, Philippines, developing cinematic projects on an international scale.
